bro... that kit IS a SUA kit... thats the only way to get a true long travel leaf sprung suspension. you WANT up travel... you have to get SUA

with what you are planning to do to and with your truck... you will be wasting time and money is you go with a leaf over axle set up

A bump for Defined. You are in the same boat I am, just different models. I think I will end up going SUA for what I want to do as well, even though I enjoy the rocks and slow speeds over the dunes.

If you end up getting 17 or 18"s out of your springs you would have to angle the shocks slightly for 16" shocks to swing the axle 18"s. I would think 18's to be safe but I think NelsonMatt has 16" rear shocks right? What are you strapped at in the rear for travel Matt?

if your shock angle is correct you can push a set of 14" Travel Shocks to give you 18" of rear travel, but its damb close, with 16" Travel Shocks you can easily get 18" and more, all depends on your geometry and if you plan on running your leaf pack in the green or push it to the red during travel....Geometry is the hint and proper shock consumption during travel....EngageOffRoad....909-238-6788
