Exactly that why I said "with a bed". I bought this truck to haul things. If I wanted a $30k truck to fuck up on trails would have bought it as a 4x4.

So are we saying here that a prerunner, say with $3k in mods to protect it from damage (let's say sliders, bumpers, and armor), is more desirable as an off road rig than just spending the extra $3k for a 4x4 in the first place?

We'll see if you keep to that whole 2wd first routine once you have to start locking and unlocking your front hubs manually. I like the idea of that - but I'd prefer to not to have to get in and out of my truck at the worst part of an obstacle just because I need to go into 4x4.

I don't see the issue in Adam getting sliders :notsure:, he will use them for their intended use, and they are Great for door ding preventers

Keith. Imma have to say yes to that for me because with only 2wd and all the armour your not gonna drive through anything that can really fuck your truck up. And when it gets hairy you have the protection. With only 4x4 you can crawl your way into some pretty damagaing stuff.

Let it be said this is only in my case.

Cuz if I had a 4x4 trd off road i would have some major damages
