Turns out that the hose for the hydraulic clutch blowing up when you're trying to park makes events much more exciting than normal.

I suppose I should be glad it happened in our barn and not on the highway.

At least today turned into a good day for bailing hay.

Hey Zach, do you know what kind of welder your buddy is using to weld those shock mounts to your axle? I need to do the same thing on my 4Runner. I've heard a couple different stories. Some say a MIG won't get hot enough to provide a good weld for that, others say it will do just fine.

Lee, whoever told you it wont be hot enough is an idiot. You should get plenty of penetration using a mig welder.

That's what I thought after doing a little more reading, etc. Plus, having a shock mount pop off isn't going to kill anyone :D

Welcome. That's the southern flank of Mt Rainier taken from an area just north of Packwood, Wa. The rest of them were even further south, in the Mt Adams area.

Our goal was to reach the Columbia river from Packwood, all on backroads. Never made it. Tried 3 diff routes. Always ran into snow/ice at around 4000'. :pout:

Looking good Zac. I guess Poorboy Offroad is doing a Sandlake run on the 30th. I'm hoping to have my new motor mounts installed and my coilovers rebuilt by then. Oughta join us.

Yeah we were talking about your rear end. It might still work out! You seem kinda bummed though. I would be. Yeah I dropped off a bumper for Aaron to paint. Might ask him to weld on some sliders once I get them. I'm without a garage for the next few months so its kinda a bummer. Aaron seems pretty chill though!

Got my new motor mounts yesterday. Just gotta weld them up and install them. Probably pulling the motor to get it done.
