I cant seem to get the pix onto my comp but if you send me a pm with your # i can send a pix msg. My box takes half the space but bigger in height,,,leaving the space for the amp. Thumps very nice.

The only box I have seen for that is long and runs across the back and the sub holes are all the way on the end stuffed in the bottom corners. It takes 8" drivers I think.

I dont really like the bass frequency range that an 8" puts out. Is there a box that accepts a 10" using the same space?

Hey I like that :D... has your friend done any measurements for his box yet? Do they match up with the one listed there on Amazon?

I dont think that will even fit back there. It is a tight fit. I think the eights will do just as good if not better than that one ten.

It is a very tight fit, we drew out the box, and it is way more complicated than it seems :( That box I posted from Amazon is a steal of a deal compared to the box they make with the two 8" subs.. So I guess I will have to save some money up for that box.. I just hate the price of that box.. Maybe someone has a better idea.. I have seen someone put a bazooka sub in their tacoma but have not actually heard the sound of it myself. Has anyone else?

I would have to disagree. The bass response of a 10" sub is way different than an 8" sub... I dont care if you have 10 8" subs, the bass sounds different. The 8" does not pick up certain frequency ranges and tends to stay in the "mid" bass range where as the 10" will pick up more of the lower end bass. IMO a 10" sounds better... if I wanted good mid range bass, I would just buy a pair of premium 6" speakers. I think 8" subs, unless coupled with 10's" or 12's", are a complete waste of time. Especially given the fact that the ones your putting behind the seats are compact and have relatively small magnets... hell I've seen 6" speakers with larger magnets.

So do you think that this 10" box would fit behind the seat of the 4door ?

Ever thought of building a box that would fit between center console and center of rear seat? So it sits right on that hump in the floor and cover it with matching carpet.

I might try and do that once I sell my Integra and get a system for my 01 DC. My dog will enjoy it too since she likes to put her chin on the center console armrest and sleep.

I know its a Frontier, but check out how they designed this box for the rear seats. If you can afford to give up the space it looks really nice. :D
