    In lieu of sand mica, why can't Toyota offer a proper desert tan like they do with the FJs? It would look business-like on a Taco:

    Ken, I've seriously thought of sanding down my tacoma and painting it with a rough texture flat tan like that. Maybe a shade or two darker. What kind of paint is that?

    Googling a bit turned up this thread on TTora: RUSTOLEUM CAMOUFLAGE DESERT TAN

    Apparently he bought a squeeze-trigger attachment for the rattlecans.

    And it looks like my truck's color is the "least ugly" according to this poll.

    oh man i like that! but yeah a little darker would be amazing. i have also thought about the same thing! how sick would that be? you never have to worry about your paint again cuz you can just rattle can repair it. and i just really like the flat look

    but i was thinking would dirt and stuff stick to it really bad?

    We had in our trucks in the sandbox and it was pretty manageable with a garden hose.

    i think they all look good, i personally like the dark green ones the best, i forgot thier offical name

    Had to put my vote for DSM - it just really does not do it for me... Next on the list would probably be Silver mica or whatever Toyota calls their silver. It's too boring.

    My FAVORITE colors in order are: Mag Grey and Timberland Mica.

    My opinions on white/black are opposite of what I usually prefer; white has never done anything for me except on a 2nd gen tacoma. I usually love black on cars but pictures of BSP trucks dont impress me much... the black washes out the lines of the truck. I need to see one in person.

    I've fantasized about owning a Mag Grey or Timberland Mica Tacoma. Unfortunately I probably will not be able to afford an 09+ when I buy one... :( So It looks like I'll settle for white.
