    Hey guys, so I got my lift installed today,5100's all around with OME 885's on the front. Well the dude who did the install apparently decided the front wasn't lifted enough so he put the fronts at the third setting, said everything was cool with it. He got the alignment in spec, there's no wandering or vibrations, but I called DSMS and they said its probably not recommended lol. The guy said he'd fix it for free, but man that annoyed me. Will everything be cool with driving it around like that or should I sit at home till I can get it set back down to the second setting?

    You don't want it on any setting but the stock height on the 5100's! All the lift is coming from the 885x coils (around 2.5 to 3" depending on settling). And there is no way in hell he was able to get your alignment in spec with the 5100's lifted 2.5 and the coils lifting you another 2". I would have him fix it but have someone else check it over because it sounds like he has no clue what the fuck he was going. There are 4 total settings you can use on the 5100, either do no lift at all from them or do .85" if you have UCA's.

    And make him re-do your alignment...

    Yea, I was thinking the stock setting and then when I can afford UCA's doing that DIY and then getting them set up at .85 and an alignment done. I'm waiting out down the street from them till they open at 8. That bastard is making me get up at 715 on a Saturday to fix his mess up. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

    Are you saying I can get a little more lift out of my set up? I can set my shocks to .85"? I've got the OME 885x coils and my 5100s set to 0" and just recently installed some UCAs.
