    So here's the question:

    Mod my truck now?

    or

Buy my wife a Barc. red DC prerunner? (not the one in the pic...)

(Thanks to Tilt for the example truck!)

Oh wow. Lol. I say get her a Tacoma. For safety reasons. I would sleep better at night knowing she drives a pretty safe vehicle. Then slowly mod yours.

Tell her you will add a camper shell. So it will be a rectangular cube.

I voted for the wife to have the prerunner, but it depends on what she wants. If she doesn't want a new vehicle then let her keep the cube. If she wants a new vehicle, let her decide what she wants. If she does want the tacoma, then you will be a two taco family, which is a double win for you.

She doesn't really want a new vehicle that much, but after driving my tacoma she's got the fever lol

She'd happily keep the cube, but she'd love a tacoma. She can't really decide what she wants, and of course I've given her my suggestions.. ;)

Go for the Taco. Just tell her more people will notice her in that than a "Cube."

Economical reasons- only get the Tacoma if yours is already paid off or you can do it with only one care payment (I hate having 2 car payments).

That being said... a Cube?! :help:
For the love of God get the Tacoma even if you end up having 3 car payments!! :D

I wouldn't trade my wife for anyone!

Got a CBR1100XX already that she loves to ride!

Besides, I'd rather get the 20yo on the beach for my wife to have fun with! :D

How about you drive the Cube and then she drives your truck. No money spent and she gets what she wants. Somebody has to suffer for getting a Cube.

Both! Once she gets the Tacoma then she will want to mod hers as well. Then you can have little (expensive) competitions to see who can pull off better mods!

I say leave her alone and if she wants it, she will tell you. She's aware that you are okay with it so at this point I would say it's her call.

I had a brand new Dodge Ram Hemi quad cab that I LOVED. My husband drove a Lexus and he thought (bless his heart) that I would like one so he took me to the dealer and suggested we trade the truck in. I adamantly said that I DID NOT want to give up my truck, had no reason to and I didn't want a Lexus. Long story short, kicking and screaming I was in tears when I handed the keys over.

A year later and still sore from losing my Dodge, he realized that maybe I should have a truck after all.....

Babytruck was my Mother's Day gift. [IMG]
