Anybody know which brands of window tinting are the best or which brands to avoid. Is tint tint beside the percentage of tint?

I figure 3M is good, has anybody heard of global express?

    Thanks,

I have LLumar 10% in rear and 15% in the front. Quality tint that blocks a lot of heat. I recommend it!

Llumar is good stuff, but you might check out some places locally b4 you think about DIY. I got my front sides tinted to match the back sides for $60 with llumar tint and a lifetime warranty.

Tint is exposed to UV and heat constantly. I'd be sure you buy quality stuff and get a quality install unless you like the purple bubbly look.

+1. Get quality work done by the pros, it always pays for itself in the long run. Most places will warranty it for life so if there is EVER a problem with discoloration or bubbles, they will completely redo it. I cringe when I see people who have obviously done it themselves with that cheap stuff that turns purple. Looks hideous.

Fine Line in Macon...I stand corrected on the brand though. Just looked at my receipt and it seems now they use Advantage film by Aegis. I have had so many done over the years I didn't even ask the brand they use now. It has a lifetime waranty.

I am not looking for DIY I was just comparing a couple different tint places locally and I had never heard of "Global Express " both places have life time warranty.
