    It's another measure to ensure someone doesn't walk off with the tailgate. The washer prevents that clip from just coming out.

    I agree. Jake had his game on that day.

    Here's another mod I did today. I debadged the sport edition and put them on my wife's Highlander. I then added these Factory Black Sand Pearl Tacoma badges that match the hood scoop. Badges are compliments of Ron. Thank you buddy.

    Thanks man. No worries about the mount. I only have the "L" brackets now. The hardware (bolts, nuts and washers) can be picked up at Lowes or Home Depot.
