    My wife did the same thing to me! I told her if she really hated it to repaint it herself.

    Cleaned out along the neighbors fence line this past week and yesterday. A gully washer of a rain washed dirt and stuff into his yard. This task took quite a few hours. I need to plant grass seed next.

    Well, my daughter and my son-in-law came over for dinner today. I cooked up a nice hunk of beef on the rotisserie, boiled up some potatoes and onions and then roasted them in the oven, grilled some asparagus, and generally made a mess of every dish and pan in the house. Filled up the dishwasher afterwards and pressed the start button. Nothing. Just finished washing and drying all the dishes by hand. This dishwasher has given me trouble almost since the day I got it. Moisture keeps getting behind the control panel and shorting out the circuit board. Always seems to let go at just the right time.:rolleyes: I think I'm done with Maytag. Got to go get a new one tomorrow, don't know what brand yet. Any ideas?

    I usually check out consumer reports and see what's rated best, or at least has the fewest issues

    Maytag went through a bad run in recent years. Say about 5 years ago until I'm not sure when. Management changed hands, factories were consolidated and as a result their quality suffered. I think they are back on the upswing though.
