just got k&n intake

    Just got a k&n cold air intake how well does it work and any improvements in performance ?

    on the first gen 2.7, all the intake gives you is more noise. No gains to be had.

    yeah.....The K&N on my 2.7 I tested gave -5 hp.....

    You claimed a 5-6 hp gain, and Ive never seen close to that. You get that with an AFE, and a bit more with a URD, but those are the only 2 that give real gains. IIRC, the TRD gave a little gain too, but I havent tried the new version yet.

    again, you have a REAL dyno, i have a buttocks dyno and all gains are over 4k rpm with lost low end power

    I have one. It sounds cool lol, but K&N says at 4800RPM you should get a whooping 9.45 HP. lol

    i had mine for ever and loved it ....don’t care what anyone says it may mytruck feel like back when i first got it "new" ....now I just took itoff today trying to find out what is causing my truck to run lien....."Iknow what some of ya might say but I was trying to get her back to as close asstock as I could to narrow the thing down......" anyhow,,, big differentcan't wait to put it back in...... Although mind needs a little tender lovingbut it still bad ass....lol...... can’t wait to get headers......
