So you don't like the fact that the fans believe in the team? You're right. All the fans should say how bad they suck and that they'll be lucky to win 2 games this year. That makes sense.

Its called being reasonable. There is no foundation for them to "believe".. yeah you can HOPE or be OPTIMISTIC or DREAM. I'm saying these people truly thought a championship was possible with 0 (zero, nil, none, nada) talent. So yes I dont like the fact theyre dumbasses

I just said you can HOPE. It's delusional to think it's a guarantee.

For some reason, I get the feeling that if UGA would have been a title contender the last few years, you'd have a different outlook. But hey...whatever. It's a new season, everyone starts with the same record, and everyone has the same chance to win the title. That includes the Dawgs. Call it delusional, call it hope, call it whatever you want to, I call it being a fan.

Razorbacks will be tough to beat this year.
An elite receiving corp ,(Childs, Adams, Hamilton, Wright)
The rushing leader of the SEC returning (K. Davis)
8 of 11 starters back on defense.

We are breaking in a new QB, T. Wilson, but if he couldn't throw the football, he wouldn't be playing for Petrino.

We are also breaking in 2 new starters on the O Line, so that is a question mark.

Special Teams looks to be first rate as well, Hocker was very accurate and Chris Low of ESPN has him on his pre-season all SEC list (as well as returner Adams).

    Can't wait!

We'll see, should be a decent team, I don't expect y'all to go all the way though, had Mallet stayed though y'all would have been one of if not the best team in the SEC IMO

    So true!

:rolleyes:I don't need to comment on this one.

I second this. Tennessee will never be the same team as when fulmer was in his prime. Dooley is a great coach and will have this team a solid top 25 team before his career at UT is over, but they will never be the powerhouse they used to be.

Don't let me comment on Fulmer, you don't want this rant. Lots of Bama fans in the family, no Fulmer fans at all, for a reason.

I go to THE ohio state university, and its almost pathetic how dumb a lot of you guys sound talking shit about Jim Tressel. You guys blame him for the stupid actions the kids made that forced him to cover up what they were doing? You guys honestly dont know the politics of college football one bit. Im all for the trash talks and everything because thats just college football, ohio state has the biggest fan base, and they also have the biggest hate base. Im glad to be a Buckeye because at least we are responsible with dealing with our actions and take our troubles head on unlike many other schools. obviously Gene Smith vacated our season and bowl game victory away to lessen the harsh penalties of the NCAA, but at least they are attacking the situation. And when you say Arkansas WOULDVE won if the cheating players werent paying, let me give you two points... how is selling your memorabilia cheating? in what part did that enhance their game? how did it make it unfair for them compared to Arkansas? and two, everyone knows we beat arkansas. hands down beat them, in arkansas' back yard. Mono y mono we beat them and when that clock turned 0, ohio state has more points on the board than arkansas. saying that arkansas needed our best players to be ineligible to beat us sounds fucking retarded especially coming from someone who wants to sound legit.

think about what you guys say and get your facts straight, and most of all, be rational. just because you dont like us for whatever reason it is, speak softly and carry a big stick, other wise, what you say is just little boys talk and it makes you sound ignorant and ilinformed.

    Three points to make

    1. Breaking ANY sort of rules is cheating.
    2. Ilinformed isn't a word, illinformed is.
    3. It's one game, woopty doo, yes having games stripped from you sucks but get over it man, in the past, not that I am happy that Bama has had a hell of a lot of games stripped away in the past (a hell of a lot more than one season) because of Fulmer, it is something to get over. If you don't want games stripped away from your team, find an honest school with honest players.

EDIT: Number 4. The cheating players were already supposed to have been benched, they were already found guilty but were playing anyway, another violation...

    This....

Another way to look at it....

Say you get a ticket for having tint thats too dark... sure its not a horrible offense, and it doesnt effect anybody else.

BUT. It is still a law/rule, you KNOWINGLY broke it, and you must pay the consequence.

Your second point ill just completely disregard. and to answer your 1st one first, i obviously know that, thank you for pointing that out, but it raises the question, why is that considered a violation? Why would any student not be aloud to do that. I know the actual rules and why it is, but think about it from a normal persons viewpoint. Its your gear, you earned it, your school did pay for it, but thats what comes with a scholarship(money!), so why would it be illegal to sell it for yourself? and your 3rd point, i dont care that we got those games vacated at all, i was just simply pointing out that we won those games and theres no one anyone can actually take away the fact we beat them fair and square. thats all im saying

False, your team did not beat them fair and square, your team had cheating players, does it matter whether or not you agree with it? NO!! Take a lawsuit to the NCAA for all I care, the players broke the rules, they represent the team and ultimately the school. Move on. Would I like it if Auburn's wins were vacated? Yes. Would I rather have both of my teams woop up on them at Auburn? Yes. One more thing, you did not play on the team did you? Don't say we if you didn't play. YOU did not beat them at anything.

I don't want a decent thread being shutdown because of the idiocracy spewing from your brain, no wonder you're at OSU.
