    Personally, I like them both. NC of course because I'm a UNC fan. SC because I have family that lives in Irmo. Love it down there (minus the muggy ass summer heat).

    Myrtle Beach, I have to agree, it's just to crowded and over-rated. I've found a new (to me) beach in NC that my wife and I went to on our honeymoon last month. 2nd time going. It is very peaceful and laid back. I can look up and down the beach and maybe see 10-20 people.
