    Lift kit, weight distribution hitch. Camper shell. Kayak Rack.
    Folks, i have a logistical question. Lately i have been hauling things under my leer topper that are like 10ft long. Not heavy but bulky. So far i have been tieing them with crank fastener cargo belts. Would be nice to buy a cargo net like they use on docks or in military. Store bought ones are flimzy. Have any of you found other solutions? P.S. Bed extender is too short for my needs.

    No sir. I was given an option when I bought my shell but it was a little out of my price range.

    Let me shed some light on what it is exactly I am transporting:
    Home got flooded 2 months ago so have been doing a lot of repairs. Contractors have finished flooring but before that happened I made 5 trips to home depot for supplies. Things like 10ft quarter rounds, baseboards etc.... Not heavy but long.
    Likewise lately I have been known to transport 7ft long book shelves and other things of that sort. Bed extender is just a bit too short.

    I am hoping to get something like this thing here:

    Took my shell off this weekend to help a friend move so I snapped a pic of my "hoist" setup while the shell was hanging.

    As posted before, it's pretty simple. Just eye bolts bolted to the ceiling joists (all the way through with a nut and washer.) Then large ratchet straps to lift it off the bed. I just back in, lift it up about 3-4" and drive out of from underneath it. The whole process takes about 5 minutes.

    16' long X 3" wide...I think??? I bought them from Home Depot for about $13 each. They are rated for over 1,000 lbs...which is a little overkill, however I went with them because they were wider straps and the ratchet mechanism had more leverage to make ratcheting much easier.
