What a pussy statement, honestly. Its fucking football man, on the field like football is usually played, they won. thats all that matters. Obviously they werent supposed to play, but the NCAA let it happen, so how about you file a lawsuit against the NCAA for your soar ass not liking the fact that they beat them. You just want to scrutinize them because YOU DONT LIKE US. And ill say us and we all i fucking want man, i pay for those kids to go to school their and provide their scholarship money. We are a school, go their for the same reasons, go to the same classes as each other, what part of that isnt considerable for "we". stupid things like trying to dissect every little part of my written response on a thread makes you seem weak in the mind. If you want to have a real discussion and argument, well do it in real life. But you ignorant and only-wanting-to-sound-domininant statements are setting this up for stupid arguments.

What will get this shut down? Im talking about college football politics and your bringing up the fact that i go to a school? man are you a low life. I go to school their because ive always liked them. my great grandparetnts are from ohio, made an extremely decent living for themselves, still went to ohio state. my parents went to ohio state, same as them. I couldve gone anywhere in the country or world that i wanted to, but i chose ohio state so i could express my pride against idiots like you who dont know what its like. I dont need to prove anything to you because you mean nothing to me and its just a thread on a forum, you trying to make me sound more dumb than you because i chose my school out of passion and love is redic. glad you judge people ;)

I don't care one way or the other about OSU, it has no affect on my life, if they ever play MSU or Bama I will care, but not until then. I wasn't trying to sound dominant at all. That game has no influence on my life at all. Obviously you are butthurt up and down about it. And it is football, get over the "college politics" obviously neither one of us will agree, I am not trying to troll or flame you man, calm down.

thats the thing, im not hyped up haha. I said if you want to have this discussion then lets do it in real life, is me saying that having this over this is stupid. meaning i would rather say things in real life because it comes off better. and swearing is just a way of our language, i dont find it demeaning and i certainly dont mean it as me being mad or anything haha. Im only simply backing up my statements and protecting my self pride because when someone tries to sloop to that level, something should be said about it because if not, then people like that will just infest our forums and life and just say and do stupid things. its not right to try and attack me for going to ohio state haha. its a college and that shows im getting proper education inside and outside of the calssroom. meaning im doing the right thing sssooooooo i see nothing wrong with me trying to back that up

Ok then if you dont care about them and have no link to them in your life, simply dont say anything. Do you talk shit about your friends or your friends friends? If you dont need to say it then dont say it. and if you do, like i said, speak softly and carry a big stick(i know i didnt speak softly)

Mallet was an ass-clown, and he couldn't handle pressure. One of my favorite things to do was watch him when games that were going well started going poorly for Arkansas (see the Ark/Bama game last year). That kid couldn't keep his cool.

I must have missed where the students FORCED sweater vest to cover up for them? Did Pryor hold a gun to his head and make him do something against his will? If that's the case, tOSU should hire him back immediately, b/c clearly he did nothing wrong.

To answer your two points: 1) Selling memorabilia is cheating b/c the NCAA says it's cheating. It comes down to amateurism and the eligibility of student athletes. Regardless, you don't need to agree with the rule to understand that it's a rule that must be followed.

    2) It enhanced their game b/c they had talented players who shouldn't have been on the field in the first place.

I can't argue with that... The scoreboard did in fact have more points on the tOSU side than the Arky side at the end of the game... Then, more recently, tOSU president stood up and said, "We are vacating the win in that game because we cheated, and we don't deserve it."

As long as you're willing to accept the vacation of the win, I'll accept the fact that you whooped (barely beat) Arkansas.

I'm still trying to figure out why you did this. Are you turning that post in as a school project or something? If you are, you should probably run a spell check, and learn a little something about punctuation.

So you're saying that you know the rule and "why it is," but you want to know why it's considered a violation? The only reason we need to understand is that the NCAA SAYS it's a violation.

But, since you're a wide-eyed student, eager to learn... Student athletes compete on what is supposed to be a level playing field (no pun intended) with other student athletes at other schools. Part of keeping schools 'equal' is saying that NOBODY gets to pay their athletes. When payment occurs (most of the time - sCam Newton), players are ruled ineligible. If they contributed to the success of the team, that success is stricken from the record.

Selling gear that was given to them is like getting paid, which affects their amateurism, and that's why it's against the rules.

Again... Yes, you did win those games. Then your president stood up and said, "We cheated. We forfeit."

Thank you for making our point. Why would we file a lawsuit against the NCAA? Seems to me they only 'let them play' b/c Tressel and others covered up the fact that they weren't eligible. Now that the NCAA knows the truth, they're going to come with the hammer.

This kind of shit will get a thread shut down if it gets out of hand. That's what.

First off Tressel covered up stuff, he didn't deal with it, but all schools do this to some extent, just a matter of not getting caught.

Second Selling memorabilia makes you a thug at UGA apparently.

^^^^^ and this............UGA is known to be a party school, so yes players get into trouble with drinking and partying type stuff, aside from a couple of more serious charges that were dealt with btw, how does that make them criminals or thugs as many have called us? Other schools have players getting in bar room brawls, beating up cops, armed robbery and other crimes I cant remember but yet we get the label of criminals?

As far as the UGA fans being delusional, I admit there are many out there but I call it passion. We are hungry for a championship and HAVE come very close 3 times over the past 10 years, not bad in my book, especially when you play in the SEC. So I don't think we are as delusional as many claim. Yes the last couple of years have sucked and I don't expect to win the NC this year, not even the SEC, but think we could have a shot at the SEC. And we all know what conference has won the NC for the past how many years now? So who knows? Anything can happen. If I didn't have some faith in my team everybody would be ragging me, telling me that I'm not a true fan, right? Bottom line is win or loose I'm a fan and I'm hoping for the best. But that is part of the fun, you just never know what will happen until they hit the field. I mean if you pick two teams to be in the NC game and that plays out exactly, is it any fun? NO, that's what makes college football exciting to me.

Taylor, Taylor, Taylor...you think Ohio state is really responsible for attacking their situation your beloved liar of a coach started? Really?????? You must be one of those wide eye's that hangs out way too long on high street so that it distorts reality. Your boys tried as long as they could to cover up the transgressions of sweater vest. They only owned up to the situation when they realized sweater boy was caught with his hands in the cookie jar. They should have realized from his days at Youngstown that he didn't follow the rules. Say goodbye to a bowl game your senior year.

Yeah, I didn't even mention that. tOSU has done ANYTHING BUT attack this problem.

Duck and cover, duck and cover, duck and cover... What? We got caught? Out with the Vest and we'll dock ourselves the wins last year.

That's a lot of reading that I didn't do. The main thing is, tOSU still hasn't technically beaten an SEC team. Your win was vacated. Oh yea, how's it feel losing your number 1 recruit to Michigan?

Not sure if you're talking about my post, or the others and mine, or what.... I don't realize how long posts get when I go multi-quote crazy like that.

    again...

Kyle Kalis: "I can't go there (Ohio State) and take penalties for something I never did. Ohio State is a great program. I'm just not sure how long it will take them to recover. I want a solid, grounded coaching staff with a safe environment. Where there aren't such tough questions."

I was talkin about all of it. I read his post crying about Tressel and then everyone responded to him...and I just skimmed through them. I kinda assumed what they were all gonna say, didn't think I needed to read all of it.

haha you guys are too funny honestly. there really isnt a point arguing with you southerners. you are biased because you are from the south and thats fine, but the way you present yourself also is just mindboggling. listen to yourselves, i made one fucking comment trying to back myself up but you guys are just too quick to try and prove me wrong no matter what. there is a difference between cheating and breaking the rules, and you need to understand that. im not going to get into this discussion any further because i see too much lack of character in all of you guys who attacked me, and thats not what a forum is all about. so ill just leave it at this, im more proud to be a buckeye than you could ever imagine, i will still by their side for my entire life, and i will back up anything they do because thats what i love to do
