    Talked to the wife tonight about getting a new computer for the house. Our Dell is 6 years old now and falling apart. I'm about to start my MBA, so I wanted a new computer for classes (I take them online). She just started a business, so we can deduct the cost... works for me. :D

    I'm excited. My first MAC!! Got Adobe Photoshop CS4 extended for an unbelievably ridiculous price with the student discount. Got a discount on the iMac too. Can't wait to get it... yay for me :D

    We as a family dumped all our PC's last year.... best computing move we have made. I love Macs, no more virus BS and updates take all of 20 seconds. Have fun re learning all the short cuts and command functions. My college bound daughter can simultaneously have 8 programs open at the same time and bounce between them fluidly as she writes papers... it is a sight to see!!!

    Ya, I can't wait to get it...

    It's a good move. I had to order over the phone for the student discount and the guy from Apple was happy to learn that I was a first time Mac buyer... lol

    I was a PC person most of my life...building and fixing (mostly fixing) them. I bought an iMac about a year ago. I'm still learning it and I'm sure it can do most of what I need it to, just have to get the apps for it. Until then, I'm still relying on my PCs. :(
