I temporarily put some push on moulding on the cuts till i get the fenders rolled under
They are not perfect by any means but will work for what I want to do with it.

Its some cheap push on moulding that I picked up at Pep Boys. 2-24" peices in a pack for about $3.50

37's will be on tonight or tomorrow

Nice! That's a whole lotta tire! How much do those tires weigh a piece?

They weigh about 75 lbs a piece. The aluminum wheels really helped out on the wheel/tire total weight.

They also look a lot bigger in the pics since due to the limitations of the 2D digital pics

I figured they would weigh more. I like the wheels! Good choice!

Got the 37/12.5/15 SSR's put on

Took the truck for a test ride with the new rubber and hosed him off for the first time in months

The little 22re pulls the 37's pretty solid. The tires have a little wobble at highway speeds but not too bad.

Had a slight problem with one of my tires as of late....... :)

So I have been catching up on getting some stuff installed that has been sitting on the shelf for a long time..

    Got my HID's installed from DDM tuning 35W 6000K Hi/Lo H4
Looks damn bright. Pics dont do it justice

    HIDs_0fabc9ee1234b578c837bb94b4775f55400a0014.jpg

Relocated my Ford horns to the front of the grill to make room for my next mod

    CIMG0366_77652383d10289ebb5760c72017f526fe626afee.jpg

Had to move the horns up front for the the install of the Blue seas 12 circuit fuse block. I made up a 4ga power and ground cable for that as well.

    CIMG0369_e50ad2b052d7c796879ed640c6caac81cee85a4e.jpg

Finally got my bed lights powered up. I ran the switch to one of the blank spots above the radio and used a 12V 30 Amp relay

    CIMG0367_e6f14893956c50df1285150509deca3f75665395.jpg

Switch not completely installed but working. I was chasing down a bad ground and a couple blown fuses

    CIMG0368_5c3509aba94e0a0202d46d457df7ae89aa2ce486.jpg

Relay setup that will be under the hood

    CIMG0370_6e0c0557a465344e7e21899772fb7081ae30fa68.jpg

Now i just need my warranteed tire to come in and Ol Red will be ready to roll again

Basically finished up all the wiring on the red truck (tucked away and zip tied). Finished the Vision X rock lights, and have everything hard wired into the fuse block under the hood. Just waiting on my tires to come in at 4WP so I can drive Ol Red around the block and hopefully to HF Labor Day weekend.

Spent the better part of the last 2 days doing the Rammat install on my Tacoma. I have the drivers rear door done with the speaker wire run through into the cab. Got the rear of the cab basically finished. Also did the front floorboards as well. I ran my 0 Ga power wire form the engine bay to the drivers seat since i had everything taken apart anyways. I just need to finish the other 3 doors and get some longer bolts to hole the speaker rings in place and the install will be well under way.

The Vision X rock lights put out plenty of light but have some kinda Bro functions. Except for the strobe, I like that. I thought I was going into a trance the other night while playing with the light control.

I have had mine for about 2 yrs as well. I origianlly bought them for my Tacoma. There will be a shit ton of cable left which will have to be rolled up and tied out of sight.

I havent been up to much lately besides wedding planning. Cleaned up my set of IFS front brakes and calipers. I'll probably shoot a coat of paint on them before install.
    CIMG0051_a6c70ad345a60655351f8073a3b60ef88b94b2c8.jpg

The TC to the left w/ MC 4.7's has a broken front output which will be replaced with a Marlin 30 spl front and rear outputs. Its pretty clean I just need to clean the stock top shift one a little more. I have a Marlin replacement 23spl 2.28 low gear for the TC on the right that I got last Christmas. I just need some more parts and time to get this thing put together.

Well I got throught the wedding and all is going well :)

I should have some time to get some things accomplished.
Had a friend cleaning out his garage and foud a box of parts to an 85 runner that he no longer owns. It was a pretty good score: 2 new window regulators, 2 front marker lights, 2 rear tail lights, tan console, a ton of fasteners, and 2 complete seat belt assemblies and 2 mirrors

    CIMG0059_102f58d9b8b3babc984e56f48fcf5e78fdb51989.jpg

    CIMG0058_76a9d843deff9b2ff9235d84a281b15f2898abc1.jpg

    CIMG0060-1_ca8d83c970cc86f42e892b2f42b62c8dfb081b81.jpg

At least I have a couple of spares on hand for any future incidents.

Messed around on the red truck this weekend for the first time in about a month.
I basically disassembled the whole dash to clean up wiring and see what the hell was going on with the lack of airflow coming from my vents.

    This was the passenger side.

    CIMG0077_f8e33f0e93227d6eae54717b306b6b6b54a98580.jpg

Found this in the blower motor assembly

    CIMG0076_5673aae37f9b1c1e6f313f52feef4ff8c4cb5d13.jpg

The condenser was jammed almost full as well.
Got that mostly cinched back up. Just have to get the bezel around the speedo cluster put back on. Fan blows like a champ now!
Finally got a push button switch installed for my horn. The wiring inside the steering columnb just kept pulling apart and being a pain in the ass.
Sealed up the hole in my fuel door from when i trimmed my rear passenger fender.
Started to plumb in an inlet hose to the air box. A carbureated one doesnt work BTW. It almost does though.

EBC greenstuff 6K pads are on the way along with a new high pressure steering hose. Mine is looking a little brittle. Might as well change it out before it blows.

So this is what I came up with for my air box intake tube. I used a 2" PVC street L and the intake tube from a carbed 22R. I had to plug the extra port on the tube and put the 2 tubes together with a bead of silicone. Im letting it cure now and installing after that.

My dog Tank decided to hop up into the truck with me after I got finished putting the dash/speedo cluster back in. He loves the Red truck!!

    tankandme4_236b666a215459e5319a83640611a2e7c02cae8c.jpg

Took a little time and painted both my inner door jambs before I put the doors back on.

    CIMG0088_88eb3839371cb2068e8ebd654ff46c0f9f1bb924.jpg

Also got my rigged up air box intake tube put in.

Seems like my rear shackle angle is getting better too.

    CIMG0086_10a6f6f4b1bd0abaeb220b5ea51c20c4049b64e5.jpg

Look for some updates here in the near future:

IFS front brake upgrade with EBC pads

Rear disk conversion with GSM's kit

    Radio freshening up

    2" Sunpro Gauge install

And more to come as I find more parts in boxes that I forgot or didnt know I had.

Going Wheeling this weekend so no modding :)
