Avid Offroad Lightbar

I got a 2010 Tacoma and just ordered the Avid Offroad light bar....I'm thinking about getting it sprayed with line-x. Anyone done this or have suggestions? I also have 4 holes drilled for lights and i'm not sure if I should plug them or not.

 

I just got one too. Powdercoat it. Its not too expensive to do and well worth it in the end.

mine is line-x'd, and has held up amazing for over a year now. no fading, or damage AT ALL. i offroad all the time and have even pushed over a small tree with it (about 4"thick)

as far as i know, im the only one on here with it line-x'd but i could be wrong

Did you plug the holes when you got it line-x'd? I'm afraid if I go line-x without plugging them It will be hell getting it installed....but I also don't want it to rust

 

nope, did not plug plug them and it fit no problem

 

Anyone know if there is a torque rating for the bolts to attach this light bar?

 

Just tighten them up good and tight, without stripping them obviously

I got mine powder coated also. The guy said I could touch it up with a rattle can since the type of powder coating we used had the same look as the rattle can. I can find out the info later if you would like.

 

I had mine powder coated black gloss! Very happy with the way it turned out!
