    im picking up some 16x8 moto metal 951's with 285/75/16 duratracs. not really sure on the offset. but I have a 3" lift kit, the 265's i have now look a little small for the truck, just wondering if i'm going to be able to fit the rims/tires with minimal trimming (dont want to do the cab mount) you wont catch me taking the truck off road... so just for everyday driving... any help on this would be awesome, ive been searching for the past hour and have found some ok stuff i just havent answered my question yet, and i know plenty of guys run the same set up....

    Post pics of your 16x8 MO 951s so i can see how they look!

    so only people who want to do serious off roading should lift their trucks then? must be nice to have a second car to drive if you break your truck off road. if i had your money i'd burn mine...

    Uh, I don't have money. I only own my Tacoma. I don't offroad it nearly hard enough to need a lift.

    Mods are currently being changed .....
    I'm guessing b/c he likes the look of a lifted truck. Nothing wrong w/ that. If you dont feel the need to lift yours b/c you dont need the clearance, thats fine, but dont give the guy grief for a 3" lift and some beefy tires :rolleyes:

    It's going to be hit or miss with the cab mounts. Some have to chop them, some don't.

    offset would be zero for an 8" wide, 4.5" backspaced rim.

    an alignment w/ more caster would also help in not rubbing the cab mounts

    hey man thanks alot! i just picked up the wheels and tires, no problems with rubbing at all so thats a huge relief, plus i think they look awesome too. whered you get your back rack? thats sick.

    Its a Pro-Tech rack. They just started powdercoating this year. I have a matching toolbox with it now. I used that picture, since it showed the wheels better than most of the others.
