Nice... how much if you don't mind me asking?

:woot: our heat index was 114

But I like gatorade :pout: I know - I drink both when I'm outside working

Rant away... I'd have kept the gun or sent him a bill for your time

Hope you woke his worthless tail up

Pavers are wearing my ass out.

The main body of pavers is now set after this mornings work. The bad news is that all I have left are pavers that are a little darker. But ya know this is in front of a shed so I really do not care about color all that much. The pavers are close to 20 YO at this point and now have a second life.

Tomorrow I have to go to the HD and rent a wet saw to make the cuts on the pavers. A compentent mason would probably only that 2 to 3 hours to make the cuts and set the pavers. I expect the cuts to take me close to 8 hours. :(

Anyway here is how it looks now.

My son and ex moved my son into a new house last summer out in AZ. They drank gatorade all day - they thought it was supposed to be good for you  Both of them got sick.

Maybe that's why the heat bothered me so much a couple of years ago... I just drank gatorade when outside that year. Since then I've mixed them and been fine

    TY Steph and Susan.

The vids on You Tube make it look so easy, but those guys are usually pros. I will take the path of measure twice and cut once.

The tool rental guy at the local HD is a nice person. Knows his stuff and is very helpful. BTW he is 65 years young.

I think the heats gonna bother you anyways LOL I know I'll never get used to it. I would be willing to bet the Gatorade made you sick. No doubt in my mind. I always tell diabetic patients to get sugar free pedialite cos that works good too mixed with water and no sugar. If course I guess I started saying that way back when there wasn't any sugar free Gatorade lol

I usually just keep drinking water and never have a problem. I do stop for a lunch break.

It was pretty hot today and my wife did not want me working outside in the heat. So I ran a few errands before I went to pick our son up from Zoo Camp.

    My wife will be home.

I just plan to wear eye and ear protection.

Any other pointers that you may have?

Pure water is good. Having one small Gatorade during the day is a little better so you can replace the electrolytes you lose when you sweat. Good thing you eat too. I myself forget to do that alot!
