I like the Pop-Up trailer you're towing there. Any specs on that as I'm looking for one similar.

i have not towed this yet with the TACO. but should be this month. i estimate it to be about 3000 pounds. Rhino is around 1300 loaded with extra gas and gear/food/drinks, the 4wheeler is 535. trailer i’d say is around 800 to 1000. 12X7 steel with 2 gates one 6’ on the back and one 12’ side gate.[IMG]

No, the tongue on that trailer is really long (winkwinknudgenudge). I've since decided that I prefer to put the front wheel of my bike in the driver's side corner of the bed and have it loaded diagonally. That way I can have the tailgate closed. Of course, that wouldn't work with two bikes.

Nice toys! Although I would switch those around with the Rhino in the back and the 4-wheeler in the front. That way most of the weight of the Rhino is on the axles of the trailer, not your truck.

How heavy is that unit? Been thinking about a Rockwood Roo Model 19 at 3,400lbs for comparison. Towed by a Taco, 4.0L V6, 2011 TRD Sport Long Bed.

Will the truck do this up some 2-3% grades?

I pull a 19' airstream. The Tacoma does fine. You will not be running the speed limit up and down steep grades though. Unless you want to cook the engine/tranny on the way up, and the brakes on the way down.
You just have to take it easy.

thanks! and we CAN’T trailer is not quite long a nuff. the bed of the Rhino has to hang off the front to get the 4 wheeler on. and it’s not hight a nuff to hang over the 4 wheeler. if we don’t have the 4 wheeler we usually center it left to right/ front to back. but with ink on back wards we just have to use 2 straps. (tie it to wear it is pulling it against the front rail)

After re-reading what I wrote, I realized even if you put the rhino in the back then you would probably have the trailer swaying due to most of the weight in the back. Sorry to butt in!

Found these pic as I was going through some photos that I still have to deal with from the last few months.

Nothing special. Just a small utility-like trailer that we use for camping, supplies, etc... kinda like a second (larger) truck bed.

it’s cool man! and that trailer pulls REALLY good and straight! we have just had 2 atv’s on it they wear as far to the front as they could be (put on side ways) and still pulls good. even pulls good empty.
