I say go with the bigger grabbers, don't waste your money on the wheels and if you don't care about ride quality that much then get a cheap spacer lift and be done with it.. I have left over lift components that might swap out... I'll give to you at a GREAT price!! An AAL and a coil spacer! BRAND NEW coil spacer... It might work... You never know.. But that way the money you saved on tires would be worth it! Besides.. the lift will make your truck look that much better!

Yeah I would love to be able to get out cheap on a lift, however the leafs are shot and I dont think a AAL would last very long. How much of a hit do you think Ill take on MPG? Im getting an average of about 22mpg mixed driving.

With that size tire probably to 20mpg... We can see what it will do.. If you want me to bring it to see if it will work i can show it to you.. The AAL is toytec and the spacer is procomp.. If anything all you would need to do to lift the back is add a block.. Rear isn't the problem.. Then later on save up and do it the right way...

Yeah you can bring it if you want that would be great!! However I would have no clue as to if it would work or not so hopefully you or someone there would know. Also according to General's actual website they offer a 265/75/r16 in them however I cant find them anywhere. Anyone know someone that knows someone that possible knows someone that can get there hands on some that size?

Wait, horses, you may want to hold yours. If Kyle is saying "Lift so you can do 285's" and I'm not misunderstanding, keep in mind that's gonna be painful with 150 horsepower and no regear.

Yes my thoughts too. Just noticed that the 285's in the grabbers weighs a freaking ton (66.6lbs). Where the 265's if I can find them only weighs 47lbs. So looks like Im going to go with the 265's if I can find them.

Travis, take a look in the 1st gen buy/sell/trade, there is a 2.7 with 33 miles for $800. Comes with a whole lot of other stuff. He may be willing to ship as it is crated for shipping (at least the pics look like it).

So I got to head down to Florida last weekend and wanted to post up some pics of my truck on the beach.

Looks like I'm starting to get a bro lean. Rear springs must be settling from the TSB.
