    same grew up in chesapeake, ive been a few other places and thank god be got the atlantic tossin some wind cause i was in texas and it was stupid HAWWWT!! so im thankful to be here haha

    lol yeah i grew up in chesapeake too :D but i still dont miss the humidity, i liked the dry texas heat better but CA is nice

    In the top pic...; if you push the cap in and turn you can take the shifter out. There is another plastic cup/seat in there that is probably gritty as well. Wipe it clean and lube with some grease.

    These plastic seats are what get old and brittle and break apart. can cause hard shifting and jumping out of gear... at leat on the pre-tacomas.

    I just bought the new seat and ball cup for my 90 pickup last fall.
