I'm out with the NWFJCC on a club run, so I might be out for a wheeling trip.

I usually end up saying I can't go because I need to save money or something, but I can't resist and I end up doing 2 wheeling trips in a month.... :p

Anyway, I'm out the weekend of the 16th in any case. NWFJCC is doing a Naches run and I need to attend a few of our club events!

That is opening weekend for the naches, though this year the 15th of July may be wishful thinking. There is a lot of snow up there this year. They may keep it closed longer this year to minimize impact/damage to the trail. It has been an issue in the past. :(

Hey guys, 3 day weekend coming up. Got any ideas on where to wheel?

I'm trying to find something different than TSF, but not sure where to go.

Only thing I've found so far is McCoy, but I don't know anything about it

If I make it anywhere it'll be Browns Camp. Got to pick up a new 4wd actuator first.

:( I'm just getting tired of it being the only place. Soon enough I won't need the map, I'll have the roads memorized

I'm going this weekend, no matter what or where.

    I'm trying to find some.

-That link for McCoy I posted is 8 miles east of Detroit. At worst I'd go scout Saturday. On Sun or Mon, we'd do it 'formally', or if it's trash go to TSF as a backup plan.
-Sardine road and the area around it is simply bushwhacking
-I've tried some hills behind Mill City, and they are getting more gated. Doesn't matter, isn't anything serious up there.
-There's still plenty more to try, I just don't know of anything solid yet

Yea, it does get a little old sometimes, but I still manage to get myself lost a good portion of the time lol. I have a friend that wants to go wheeling up there real bad so that's mostly why I'm probably head out there this weekend.

The only place I've been to that's serious wheeling, in Oregon, besides Browns is that new trail out by Hoodoo Ski Area. Its only 4ish miles long and I can only do half of the trail though. There are some fun dunes and roads to mob near there and Big Lake.

i think what will most likely happen is the 'big group' will probably head out to TSF on whatever day Rob's going, and then I'll take a small group to do some scouting somewhere. I want to make sure we at least have one day with some solid trails
