Stainless smittybilt steps. Picture request

I am looking into getting the smittybilt (n-fab) steps for my silver taco. I have seen plenty of pics of the black steps on silver which look great, but I am concerned about the northern ny winters and rusting. So I think I am going with the stainless for the sake of durability. I am looking for any pics of a silver taco with the stainless steps. Thanks.

With the install on the smittybilt steps are you required to drill holes in your frame to bolt the steps?

 

No drilling at all, took me 20 minutes tops to get it done

 

They bolt to the underside of the body, not the frame.

 

Raswank, I see you are from mass. How do the smitty's do in the winter as far as snow getting pack in between the bar and body? Also I am concerned that I will be rubbing on the step getting in and out at 5'11". The bars are primarily for my wife and kids. I like the looks but don't want to be constantly getting my pants dirty. That will get old quick. Thanks.

 

Didn't have any issues with snow at all. I am also 5'11" and have no issues getting clothes dirty

 

They bolt right on. There are 2 bolt holes in the front but only one lines up to the OEM in the body.

Raswank, one last question for ya. Do you find yourself using the step regularly, or is it meant more for passengers? Thanks again for all the help.

 

Use it sometimes, especially for washing. But it is mostly for passengers, and appearance.

 

X2 for me. She uses it. I only use it for washing the roof.
