Thank you for that, and the way I have worded my posts probably weren't the greatest either. I also understand how much fun it is to screw with another person as well.

I had a 2010 4x4 tacoma Access Cab 6 speed last year that got shit for mileage stock, around 280 to the tank.

I sold it and bought a 2011 4x4 FJ Auto and got at worst 330 to the tank (with out using much reserve) i'm getting about 300-310 with my Icon stage 1 and 33" KM2's

Really????? are you sure? the FJ has a 2 gallon smaller tank and only weighs 130 or so lbs more than the Tacoma. It must be the 6 speed making the difference.

I managed just over 18 this last weekend cruising up to Seattle and back. I'm running a 3" lift with 33X12.50 tires at 38 PSI and no roof rack. Never went above 72 MPH

I did notice that the Tacoma's rpm's on the freeway were a lot higher than i had expected. I was at approx. 3,000 RPM's going 70 in 6th, whereas now i am at 1,900ish at 70Mph.

Most of my driving was highway miles....but it is california where the highways are more like parking lots.

All i know is that i get better mileage now with a lift and tires so that validates my switch enough for me.

this just popped up on the all pro facebook page.
their description says it's the new fj and tacoma coilover. this looks like the long travel one, but i'd assume the regular length one is very similar

indeed. i like the virticle reservior mount. the icons are ok with it mounted at an angle, but i don't like how the kings and foxs are mounted so low. i've had logs and rocks come up high enough wheeling to take out the reservior in that position.

looks like walker evans has pulled a Ford....fell behind (with coilovers at least), realized it, and bumped up the game.

Same width, about the same height, DCSB is about 3 feet longer.

You can look up the measurements on edmunds.
