Hmmm. Problem is, I can't give back. I would have to give back a brandy new set minus pack. Unless I broke them down and took the pack out. Hmmmmmmm

Long bed got the best of me at RC this past weekend.... Back up, turn, gor forward, turn etc. Short bed..... Drive on through.

 

That was the icing on the LB cake. Lol. Anyone have a pic of me nosed into it? Ha!

Working on a deal right now. They are trying to low ball my trade in. I'll give them to the end of the week. I would sell it privately but I need the parts from the new truck (bumpers, third, suspension, etc) to make the swap. Can't afford to take the risk and buy a new truck while holding on to The the old and stress about selling it. Dealer swap ideal for me.

 

That is awesome!!!!! Did you all camp out there or was it a day trip? It's about 3 hours from where I live, but when do you all plan on going back?

Hmm now that you mention it. Stock Y-pipe. Maybe, Leaf ubolts and brackets. I dont know where the hell i put mine. Again, brand new parts goes somebody's way after the swap. That's really it. Everything else I need to pull off new truck.

I'd have to but baby seats in the bed. Ha! Baby jump seats in the bed. They would love it.

 

Camp out all weekend, they have primitive camping there for free (fire rings and porta-johns). Keep an eye out in the North East forum for people organizing trips.

 

You pulling the locker out too? Seems like alot of work, just chop the bed for length and SAS it for clearance.

 

Locker is the least of my worries. It's a piece cake to pull the third out. All the eclecrical crap (lights, compressor, winch, etc) is what's going to annoy me.

If all goes to plan I will be downgrading to the SR5 with tow package and with a decent trade in, save some loot on my monthly payments. Will end up extending the loan another year which will wash out the lower payments in the long run. Short term extra money in my pocket every month. So, the smaller bed and wallet are the driving forces.

 

Great! this all helps out a lot. Less swapping I would have to do at the dealer parking lot.

packing for happy hour on the beach tomm....
beach is 2 mins from my door...and the drive your truck on the beach is 27 mins from my door so its easy......
plus who gets to see deer n fox running across the beach at times.....

 

if anything changes ill let you know......i go get a tube
very buzy week at work and if i get off at 5 on friday it will be a disaster geting out your way at that time.....
