yep! there solution is switching out only the front coils with ome 885's then apparently my rear is great 2 inches higher lol. oh and plus i pay for the labor lol! the other possible fix would be to run a plate bumper arb deluxe with the lights and shit for 689 delivered thats not to bad but, this is just to get my suspension mushed in the front a little and not because i actually wanted to spend the almost 700 bucks to have it.

they are fucking retards plain and simple. they don't know what they are selling. so just to let any one know ahead of time who is checking out my build and wanting to do the same thing the 3 inch pro comp kit is a no beuno for regular cabs lol unless you want to run heavy ass trail armor and plate bumpers wtf?!

I am just now seeing this build, and I freaking love your truck. It is probably in the top 5 best looking trucks IMO. Great build and keep up the good work.

on the plus side despite it being to high i think it rides pretty good and it looks great lol but this kind of threw a wrench into the whole build here. now i have to do something or risk hurting my differential and tearing cv boots and stuff.

i'm not sure if the arb bumper will work with the all pro high clearance skid and now i have to sell my brand new randy ellis light bar its kind of unbelieveable to think this is how it all turned out lol wow! once its done it should be cool though lol.

their response is to have me pay for the labor and them only swap out the front springs and have the back all jacked up. seeing as it cost me close to 800 for the whole install thats just fucked up. i gave it a few weeks to see if it would settle down a bit and it has not really made one bit of difference it went from 4.5 inches to 4 3/8th inches. it seems like either way according to them i have to put out at least 689 for their screw up i'm fucking hot about it they have hideous customer service policy's at 4wheelparts.com.

imho since i asked the appropriate people and asked the correct questions did my research and brought to them my concerns before the kit was even delivered i think it falls square on them.

when a customer takes it upon themselves to escalate a question to the approriate dept and they still get bogus info on a product i don't see why i have to come out of my pocket again.

haha i know brother that was a rough night how did john end up making out? that poor guy looked beat. the cv angles are pretty bad i actually thought they would even out a bit but, no they are still touching. at this point i'm more concerned about the diff more than anything else its not sounding like i can leave it the way it is here right even for a little while until i get some more funds together?

now i feel bad my wife is a cool chick and is totally ok with me modding the truck but, i did have a limit and now it's just pissing her off lol. this thread has gone full shit show now how bout some pics lol.

i talked to the gm of the customer service division today he was the one who was the end of the line i tried escalating the situation all day hoping someone would be able to offer a solution that didn't involve me digging hundreds of dollars back out of my wallet.

i'm not sure how to contact the ceo by email lol but, thats about my only option at this point they just don't seem to care that its all fucked up. i'll figure something out it just sucks that even when you ask the proper questions and try not to screw something up someone else does it for you.

update time i contacted the gm of customer service again at pro comp and he informed me he was the highest up i could go lol. so i asked if i could email the ceo greg adler himself and they said for me to compose the email with pictures attached sot it could be submitted to him personally. i he cannot or will not help me i'm filing with the bbb and i'm going to post all of this on the forums.

at this point i have a truck that is so high that it in the shops opinion cannot be driven with out risking a failure of the differential in some way. pro comp expects me to pay to correct their mistake wtf! the kit that is on my truck was not designed for the regular cab tacoma yet they sold it to me and when i called to check with their techs before i went ahead and installed it they said it was going to be fine!!

once again i would think twice unless you are 100% positive of the parts you are buying from them will work for your application. christ they said this kit was for my truck well its not its only for the v6 extended cab and double cab tacomas.
so in short fuck 4wheelparts.com and the horse they rode in on and now i'm fucked as well:) because with them even if you think you know and all your questions where satisfied they it may still be wrong because they have no fucking clue over there what they are selling.

the whole suspension would need to be replaced buddy but, thanks lol. the rear is just as high as the front so if i lowered the front down to three inches the rear would be almost 2 inches above the front which would look retarded and probably drive worse. the arb would help get it back to where it needs to be. its either that or i replace the whole suspension system with the ome which is what i should have bought in the first fucking place god i'm a d-bag sometimes lol.

if they don't make this right i will make sure they lose the cost of my lift my installation and my time in lost revenue those fuckers. lol call me frank rizzo! mother fucker i'm silly i tell ya silly!

right now no thank christ but, i'm not really driving it any where so whats the trade off. its almost a sure thing it will though it's just way to fucking high. on tacoma you need a drop bracket if you want more than three inches of lift period and considering my truck is at 4 3/8 inches:bananadead:

i would bet if i pulled up next to a truck like mine that had the rcd 4.5 inch kit my truck would be as tall or possibly taller! its that high, so all around the truck is as high as a true drop bracket lift thats unacceptable. i had made up my mind i would let it settle and see where it came to in 2 weeks but since its still so high it must be replaced or have weight added in the form of a plate bumper at least.
