The wheeler's pack work best with the overload leaf off right? what lift does it give?

No shit that is legit so would a full set of Bilsteins all around and this Leaf pack be a decent start up? I was going to put a Fat BoBs kit on but this sounds enticing.....could always do spacers on the front because i do not do heavy offroading at all if i do anything its mainly trails/sandy.....only for a year as I am getting a full suspension lift next summer

I had a 1.5" AAl at first. I took my OL leaf and the single AAL out and put in the 3 leaf pack and it stayed the same height. leaving the OL leaf in would add however thick that leaf is, like 1/2" - 3/4"

 

Overload is 1/2". I left mine in because I do tow and haul quite a bit and wanted the overload to fall back on. So far, with a decently loaded landscape trailer, I do not sit on the overload. The 3-leaf AAL supports weight pretty well!

Does your truck run more rough leaving the overload leaf on with the progressive 3 leaf add-on?? Is it noticeable on normal roads?

I do not notice it down normal roads at all since the leaf pack does not compress enough over normal bumps to hit the overload. With the TSB pack and the AAL, it takes quite a bit for it to sit on the overload. With the cap, tools and towing a moderately weighed down landscape trailer I still wasn't on the overload (surprisingly).

 

Did you take out the rivit that holds on the U-bracket to keep it centered with the leaf pack? If so, you might want to put that back on.
I also ground off a rivit on my existing leaf back to install the AAL (I removed the rivits and brackets that hold the factory leaf pack together otherwise it would have rubbed horribly). The back rivit on the AAL hits the graphite pad on the back of the overload when the leaf pack bottoms out. I'll get some pics of the install tonight and throw them up tomorrow morning.
