    im not to sure if it metal on metal but thats what it sounds like.. only when im going slow. also i hear it a tad when i rev the engine.. im also thinking it could be the leafs. ive done the bike tube and wd40/chain lube on the rubber joints but who knows.. im right before 40k right now. i was reading since theses are not fully ceramic (i think it was ceramic) but some times it gets to a different material that makes it squeak so just make some hard breaking to "clean it off" or wear through it. i did that on my way home and it isnt as bad anymore. my mom it taking it in for service in another 1000 miles so its still going on then ill let them know. also i know their is a TSB about the brakes on the second gens

    So what did fierstone do did they remove wheels. If so check those dumb ass heat sheilds when I did my spindles I had a metal on metal sound at low speeds it was loud and at high speeds not to bad and it was loud as crap when I hit the braks. Turend out to be the sheilds draging on the rotors... Just an idea...

    Any suggestions on where i should mount my CB radio in my 1st gen extra cab?!
    I have all the stuff just no clue where to put my radio!! Any help is great!

    Looks good, did you have to do much work to get it in there or did it basically slide right in?

    Uh, not to difficult. Take out ash try and try slide un bolts, then dremelled out back so cb would fit recessed. Some people wedge it, velcroed it etc. I made a custom lil mount out of metal strap thing. Ttora has a lot of info on it as well as TW has a few write ups.
