Generation III ?

Anyone know when the Tacoma will be revised next? Will that be called Gen III?

try making searchies. there have been so many threads on this subject. the general thinking behind it is it will be a very soft update probably no changes in sheet metal or drive trains just minor tweaks here and there. so a full redo is more than likely awhile away.

 

Sorry, when this run of Tacomas is over, that's it. They're working on a version of the Prius with a small bed in back--that's the best you can hope for.

 

I read new model is coming 2019 and only comes in potato

Imo, I think the 3rd Gen should have a turbo diesel option, maybe included with like the towing package or something...

Or we should just get the Hilux back all together like in the 80s i think it was?

And Toyota has yet to build a "Heavy Duty" variant of the Tundra. I think that would really boost sales if they did...
