It's what veterans do for one another  nice new decals btw..saw them on TW live.

I tried to take off my badge on the doors but it left some residue..I applied a few applications of goo gone and even used a blow dryer to heat it up and tried scrubbing it off but nothing. I wanna take the badged off the tailgate as well but not with that shit happening. Any suggestion?

Also happened to my TRD decals that's why I got new ones from sockmonkey.. :(

For the decal goo you can try to clay bar the truck. Just make sure to wax immediately after

Dental floss to pull the badge off. Then take a credit card to get the foam off. For the sticky residue go to autozone and get some A1 water spot remover. It'll take 15 minutes max

here are some pictures from tonight after the 5100's got installed and i picked up some wheels from a buddy. what i did not know was the wheels were going to come with some well used tires but at least i get to try some bigger tires on tonight and i hope to get my new ones tomorrow.

leather going in on Thursday of next week i can not wait. and i am only getting about 1MPG less them tacoma if not the same. that will change now i am sure.

    Two things:

    1. Thank you for not getting a crewcab. Those things are butt ugly and the bed is more useless than a DCSB Tacoma IMO.

    2. Is that Excursion a Powerstroke? If so, you have my dreams sitting in your driveway.

An engine that is built by the International Truck Corporation is hardly a ford. But I'm a ford fan anyway. Being a fanboy for a single brand is overrated and ignorant.

i like the crew max but i can not stand the bed, if it had a bigger bed like the one on mine i would have gotten one.

and yes the excursion is a 7.3 powerstroke and it is built to hilt.
it should be pushing 400-500 horse and 800+ fp of torque

it has power for days but it cost me about $4000 to get it that way.
it is the wife's rig but once it is paid off and we buy her a new what ever it will become my toy.

+1 for you sir. The 7.3 Excursions are super rare aren't they? I thought the Excursion came around right about the time they were switching to the 6.0

not really. mine is a 2000 and they built them from 2000-02 with the 7.3 you can even get an early 03 with a 7.3 but those are rare. a friend of mine had one.

i love the 7.3 i had a F350 crew cab long bed before my tacoma built the exact same as the excursion but it had 35's and i could still lite the tires up and leave people in a cloud of smoke (both from the tires and from the truck haha):D
