Someone in another forum linked me to this forum today. Wish I’d found it sooner as I am probably going to seal a deal on a 2011 Tacoma tomorrow. For now, my avatar is my ‘93 SR5 that died on me last week. I’m surprised I really have no good photos of it, as photography is what I do. Anyway, interesting forum. I see interesting stuff to learn.

Thanks all for the welcome. :)

    I’m on the south coast.

I found the regional section last night, but didn’t have much time to look at it.

Down near the CA boarder. I’ve been to Depot Bay maybe 3 or 4 times in 38 years. :D

By the way, closed the deal on a 2011 Tacoma Access Cab 4x4 SR5 today. Nice driving truck. My first brand new vehicle ever.

Congrats! Astoria native here, misplaced to Sacramento. Plenty of wheeling down here if you're interested!

Been to Sac three times, and passed thru asleep in the passenger seat a couple of years ago. Only been to Astoria once about 1978.

Yes, near Brookings. I’ve been to Bend a few times, and climbed South Sister and Broken top back in the 80's. Last time we visited an old friend, and hiked up a creek on the south side of S. Sister. It was about a 3 mile hike, perfect scenery, zero people, then we x-countried till we came across the Green Lakes Trail, and hiked back out the trail. Always loved the 3 Sisters area, but don’t get over that way anymore.

Salesman delivered the Tacoma today. Of course, I took some photos, but just some quick and dirty ones in the driveway. I’ll get better ones later. I’m hoping those red letters on the windshield come off easily.
