I snagged a 48" cast hi-lift for $5. The guy was hard up for some cash.

The 60 was like $90. Ill just have a 4x4 piece of wood to keep handy. Plus I can just lift off the sliders when they come in

Nope. I'm really not sure where he got this one; but hate to say it I'm not asking any questions. I have had one on my wish list and now I can scratch it off.

I am up. Been up since seven. My dad and I are about to go get the boat, finish working on the axle, and then he is gonna teach me how to drive with it. On his truck, not mine.

So I've been told. I understand the physics of it and such I just have never really done it before. So I will probably sPend a couple hours trying not to jackknife his truck.

Just watch where your trailer tires are following you. Don't be that asshole that drives closed to the center line and his trailer is in the next lane!

Serious +1. I tend to watch my trailer's tires as much as the road ahead of me so I make sure I'm not that guy. Another severly over looked skill with trailers is how to back up. Most people just pull through or around till they can get close enough. Backing up isn't that hard; it just takes practice and patience. You have to realize that sometimes your not going to get it done on the first shot depending on the available area.

Maybe you will be delivering groceries to Granbury in a month of two. They are almost done with the HEB up here finally.

You disgust me, and I envy you at the same time.
