    So usually when the new model is going to be ready for "debut" we get a few weeks of video training and talks from toyo corp to explain all the new stuff. But the only things we are hearing about right now are the prius line and that 2012 we can still order the same models. I doubt this will be ready for 2012 and doesnt toyo usually debut Tacoma's on odd years?

    If indeed there is an update to the 2012s I do hope they have this 4Runner styling. I was driving on the highway for several miles with a new 4Runner riding wing and got lots of opportunity to see it from various angles and it is a sharp looking rig! This particular one was silver with a blacked out grill and it kind of had a Cylon (Battlestar Galactica) look to it. :)

    Anyway, I will be buying a 2012 when they come out (unless it's the same as the 2011s, then I may try to find a good deal on a leftover 2011)... and I hope they do look like the 4Runner. Toyota could do a lot worse. :)

    just dropped my truck off to have the plugs swapped out and when I asked about it they looked at me like I was an idiot. They said they had the release info on the rav4 camry and prius, but havent received any word about changes to the tacoma. I know they dont know much, but figured Id share it with you all.

    Exactly! If a 2012 model was going to be coming it would be out talked about by now. When the 2010 4Runner was coming out we had a lot of info and pics by July 2009! The fact is the Tacoma sells very well, it has very little competition, so its low on Toyota's update list. Toyota needs to be more competitive with the midsize and compact cars, cross over SUV's etc...thats what they are focused on right now

    It was 108, not sure if that's expensive but it will be the only time they get done on this truck so I said f-it.
