I'm sorry. I just realized you have different terminology. Your Primary Care Paramedic is equivalent to what we call an EMT down here. Not much they can do. The Advanced Care Paramedic is equivalent to Paramedic down here, which is what I do. The Critical Care Paramedic is almost the same as what our Critical Care medic is too - a few more advanced skills.
Just curious about pay. And YES I am certain they have ALOT of extra FF classes they had to take for working where you're at.

For one thing, your not allowed power tools, everything has to be pnuematic or haudralic due to hazardous atmospheres. Try doing all your insane critical rescues while also wearing a 50 Ib, air tank on your back.

Yep. Everything all the way down to flashlights has to be intrinsically safe. When I did my confined space training it was all done with air tanks. We went to auburn Alabama university and played in the sewers. :woot: I'm guessing they have to be HAZMAT technicians too?

:spy: Last time you were going to ship me a Canadian, it was all lies... you were gonna ship me an empty box. Plus, he was gonna hire me as his personal assistant medic at $20/hr up there. Soooo, if you ship him here does this mean I have to pay him? :notsure:
