    Chrome Rivets Removable (ex. Pro Comp Wheels)? If so feel free to explain if its a simple pop out or unscrew?

    Anyone have their chrome RIVETS Painted?

    If so can you post a pic or two....

    I'm looking at painting my Rivets so its less BLINGin' on the PRO COMP 7033.

    Main selling point for this rim was the center cap to cover the lug nuts...

    The Company selling the rims said I can pop off those fake rivets for easy painting? Can anyone confirm?

    - Should I paint the two?
    - Should I paint the one?
    - Should I paint all?
    - Leave it alone?

    Paint them all. I dont like 'blingin' wheels either. If you want ANY two-tone features on your wheels, I think it should be the center cap. But straight flat black/gunmetal always looks best on these truck rims if you ask me.

    The chrome is pretty subtle unless you're striving for murdered.

    Can you remove those plastic stud/nut without breaking them? if so, how? I was wanting to paint mine too maybe color match to the truck but didn't feel like doing all that taping to protect the wheel. do they just pop out with a small screwdriver?

    I wont be able to 100% confirm until I get my lift and wheels installed on 28 July 2011. However, my installer/shop told me I can remove those rivet studs for easier painting....but I will have to see for myself...

    Looks pretty good by painting the two, leaving just one bolt at the end of each spoke.

    It'd be great if you are able to take them off and on easily. Let us know how it turns out.

    I'd leave them alone. They don't look blingy at all. They just look 'industrial' and beefy. I have the same rims on my white tacoma and get compliments all the time. If you're set on painting some of them out, leave one per spoke.:cool:
