So I took alittle ride up to Panama Shitty toyota and saw a 2004 Toyota Tundra SR5 4.7 liter v8 (limited) with 4wd for tag price 18k. White with some mods had like a 2 inch leveling kit on some 17x9 procomps. anyways would you guys trade in your tacoma for it? Im thinking about doing it...

This is the same exact truck but I think the previous owner traded in for something at the stealership. http://panamacity.craigslist.org/cto/2489334011.html

If you like the white I say go for it, although I would try to get them to lower the price for something that's 7 years old.

I had the same exact truck (not a limited) but 4.7 4WD Crew Cab w/ TRD pkg. It was an awesome truck, super smooth transmission & comfy but bigger than what I needed. (I am pretty little ).
Believe or not, the hwy mileage was very comparable to my 06 V6 Tacoma 4x4 DC since it had the smaller iforce V8. Also the auto rear slider was a nice feature & the cab very roomy. The interior also was more toned down with less silver bling than my tacoma. There were a lot of pluses for me but in the end just too big for what I wanted in a truck.
Go for it if you want but like others said, talk em down!

Which out of the two do you like more? Besides being mid size vs full are there any cons to them?

Honestly I liked the tundra more, if it hadn't been so much bigger than what I was used to. I was coming from an pre-tacoma 4x4 xcab toyota pickup. I cannot think of any cons of the tundra...harder to park? May not fit in your garage? The look was dated I guess as a legitimate con. No tailgate assist & it was pretty heavy (but wouldn't bend). Also the bed was metal so you would have to get it line x'd or a bed liner. It does have four fixed d hook in each corner of the bed.

It fit 5 adults with luggage in the bed comfortably on a 300 mile trip from VT to Maine. Towed very well and the longer/wider wheel base made it less harsh on the roads.

The tacoma fit me better but didn't have as many creature comforts, like the rear slider standard, roomier cab, all the dials lit up, heated mirrors (not a biggie for you prob in Florida lol). But on the tacoma I could reach fully into the bed & easier to park.
I drove the 04 Tundra for a couple of years & put 30k on it no issues.

The tundra you showed is a nice one, I like the color too for the sunshine & wish you the best in deciding what you want if the price is right. And yes you can always call it off quick, your prerunner is pretty nice too!

    Don't get the ford!!!

The Tundra LTD would be much better($ is a bit high but here in Canada that truck was about $50 k new)

Power rear window is great and combined with the sunroof it will be almost like a convertable!

They ride like a dream and loads of room in the rear seats....city MPG will hurt you.

Make sure the timing belt/water pump has been done at 90.000 miles as per schedule...very important...if not great bargaining tool as this is a costly job.
