Awesome. My dogs have never been in saltwater. They drink an incredible amount of lake water when swimming (on purpose). Would like to see their faces when they try to drink the saltwater

My cousin's duck hunting dog almost died from drinking too much saltwater. I'd keep an eye on them.

yeah mine drank a lot of salt water. I just made sure he had plenty of water to drink, so that he wasnt thirsty. plus him being a puppy, I pretty much watched his every move in the water, so I didnt let him drink that much

Shit. Are you sure it is power steering fluid? What color is it? Just want to make sure we know what is going on first.

I can be there in 30 minutes if you need help, or a ride somewhere, but I don't know much about the power steering system.

I would try to patch the hole and get some more fluid in there. Maybe the firestone next to BJs has some... Are they open on Sunday?

How far is "home"? I probably would not either way - the pump turns as long as the motor is on. No fluid means no cooling for the pump which leads to it burning up and having to be replaced. I would leave the truck off and get it towed home.

The first truck I drove didn't have power steering. I wouldn't say it is over rated... maybe under appreciated.

Yes. No fluid means no cooling which will cause lots of heat and possible failure.

Not if you don't mind replacing your pump tomorrow.
