Again? Hardly a whoopin last year. We weren't very good last year to say the least and still could've/should've won that game.

 

MSU still won

 

It is so odd having two teams to root for....

 

Funny thing is, I used to pull for Bama also. (I have a freind that's whole family is for Bama, I was like one of the family, they grew on me) But after Richt took the helm and made us a serious contender things started to change. I guess I started resenting them due to the fact that I've always said that Richt would bring us a NC and have come so close. Then after Saban turned them around and we started falling apart. So I guess my loyalties showed through. Because now I cant seem to find it in myself to pull for Bama anymore. So with all this in mind, it makes me wonder where do your loyalties lye? Who do you pull for when they play each other?

it depends honestly, last year I rooted for Bama. Been a Bama fan before I was a State fan. I think I will root for whoever is the home team or whoever I think has a better shot at the National or at least the SEC championship, which both fall on State this year IMO.

 

I guess my point is it's hard to pull for 2 teams, at least when they are in the same conference. And both of yours are in the same division too. I thought I could still pull for both, I was wrong. Don't get me wrong though, I do still pull for the SEC teams.

 

I understand, yeah, it is hard to root for both teams, they are the closest in proximity within the SEC too 90 miles away!

 

I pull for FSU and any team playing Miami or Florida

 

My grandfather used to say "pull for only two teams, Bama, and anyone playing against Auburn" I think he is rolling over in his grave right now.
