    i recently lost the best knife i ever had and looking for a replacement. the one i lost was a bench made, very slim and the blade was about 3". yall know of a similar one

    I actually have a jeep now. Imagine that.
    i LOVE benchmade, however one of the factors i consider in buying a knife is the fact that it has a good chance of getting lost. Aside from that, I just got a CRKT knife that I found at a knife store for 60 bucks. I waited and found it on ebay for 12 bucks new!

    Seconded big time......I'm a big fan of Spyderco and presently have 10 or so and have had the better part of 25.I have others that cost much much more but from a bang for your buck standpoint Spydies are hard to beat and offer something for everyone.

    I agree with the Spyderco, I have carried the same knife for at least ten years, probably 15 years. I think the pocket clip has kept me from loosing it. I also carry a Surefire flashlight, two of my favorite tools.

    Broken and scratched tailgate, cracked rear tail light lens, coffee stain in driver seat.
    I too agree with the Spyderco frenzy, but you also can't go wrong with a Swiss Army knife, which I might add is a lot cheaper than a Benchmade. I am currently working on a new Benchmade, we'll see if the money is there for the kill. :D

    I carry the Kershaw Scallion. It has spring assist opening which is kind of switchblade like but it isn't technically a switchblade because the blade is pushed open by your finger instead of a button releasing the spring loaded blade. It can be found for ~$36

    I got one of those I love it, it my favorite by far no one touches it or the finger goes, it is sharp as hell too!

    I also just ordered a buck Vangaurd w/ the cherry handle with some gift cards to Bass Pro. It looks sweet. I like knives.

    i just buy cheap knives because im going to either lose them or break them...and id rather not do either to expensive ones

    on duty though i have a strider buck tarani that i carry...its nice but its too heavy for anything other than on duty

    Try a spyderco native, you can get one at walmart for about $35, best knife for the money around....

    i like my work knife thats partially serrated...ive never found an oppurtunity or time that i wished it didnt have the serrations...

    plus if i ever need to cut myself out of a seatbelt...i'll be glad its there
