    Everything I have read says that fully locked on ice is a bad thing. Real bad when making turns. If I didn't need it on the road I would just Lincoln locker it up and put my money elsewhere.

    Your not making this any easier... Shouldn't we be talking about your 4Runner. Otherwise I'll end up figuring out how to get the money together to do a drop in locker until I go to tons. Which is probably my best plan.

    Running does not count as a plan. I just know how I tend to get. Once I start something I tend to get going till there isn't much left to do. I figure solid axles are a good upgrade. Portals are an awsome upgrade and if I had the money I would do them in a heart beat. So - I should keep it in mind that if I ever want to go with portals I'm going to need solid axles that they are already made for. That is about the only thing left "out there". I'm going to run 31"s until I can get the motor redone and regear the members. That all depends on money.

    That is a plan. What is a trip stick? If your going to run 33s are you going to run spacers too or lift first? You can do 33x10.5 and not rub if you kept it thinner.

    URD air intake, 3" lift, 16" Micky Thompsons classic w/ simulated bead locks, 33" Toyo MT's, exhaust, ATO skids, and okoles.
    just got the truck home hauled it on a 16ft with my moms suburban. I believe now that is either a seal or a hose for my rack and pinion and hope i don't have to replace the whole thing
