I have 20% on my front windows. I have gone 20% on my last three vehicles. Dark intersections I sometimes have to roll down the windows when turning.

Don't get the front windshield visor strip. It screams, "Hey look at me I have my windows tinted come check me out." Also it makes the car look cheap.

yeah i may just do 20%. and i was thinking about it to block the sun. and that one reason i was just going to do 30% on it. that way it is not as noticeable. as say 20 or darker. one road i down allot the sun hits right between the vizors and get in my eyes and makes it harder to see. and it’s kinda hard for me to reattach the passenger side vizor when driving.

I think the windsheild strip is a waste IMO. Where in k-town are you going to go to get the tint done? We have some good places in Knoxville but a lot of them only have 35 or 15. I have an appointment to get my front ones done on Friday morning at a place off lovell. I was going to get 35.

Damn thats 20??? Shop I took mine to said they put 20% on my front windows. But my fronts definitely look darker than the rear..... My rear doesnt look as dark as yours though. hmmmm. Either the shop I took mine to lied to me and put 15% or newer trucks have darker tint.

I have never been pulled over for my tint. Im about to get the front window tinted 50% this week. And yeah you can see. If its pitch black outside I usually put the window down anyways. But other than that my truck stays cooler inside and I love the look

yeah i know it’s close. and hey i don’t blame you.
idk wear yet. got to look some more and get prices. i know there are some places that WILL NOT do any thing darker than 35% idk why but they wont. thats what i have heard from a few friends.

yeah if i get 20% i will not even worry about it or care. i know some LEO’s that would not mind sighing it off.

Tennessee law is 35%, so you're likely going to get ticketed for sure going that low.

for going to 20%? i don’t think so i know people with 15 that have never been stopped. and i think my friends stepmom has like 5% and she has had it like 2 years with not one pull over or ticket.

thats nice. but it’s to dark for my driveway. i’ll post photo of how dark my drive way is at night.

I put 20% all around and with the factory tinted glass my backs are 4% and the fronts are 12% at first I wasnt to fond of it but i must admitt it looks good on my silver tacoma. Its also nice and dark inside the truck on 100+degree texas days.

    15% Front (.77*.15 = .12) 40% Rear (.27*.4 = .11)
