i think the black headlights done after a BHLM look fucking awesome but like every other post ive read about them, im kinda nervous to fuck them up. i tried it on my last truck(ranger) and they ended up hazing pretty bad..im sure i did something wrong but i feel like there was one tacoma model/trim that came with stock black headlights..cannnnot think of wat it was tho. anyone have any idea?

I think you are talking about the smoked headlights. My 09 Sport came with them.

    YES!!
I dont blame you for being nervous. I was nervous too but I did it anyways and it came out awesome. Just take your time and you should be fine. Or you can just go to ebay and buy them. GL.

With my oven the whole preheat then turn it off thing didnt work to well.... Instead i put it on 250 and left it then put in the headlights, one took 6 minutes the other was like 7 or 8 i think....

Wear some gloves and when you take them out start at the bottom inside part of the light. (the part by the blinker) And then just start pulling them apart, if it doesnt come apart super easy then put them back in for a minute or two at a time to soften up the adhesive inside it....

Start to finish from when i pulled out the headlights, baked them, lightly sanded, cleaned, painted, dried and put back together was around 3 hours.... Leave yourself plenty of time to do it that way you dont have to rush...

Just lightly sand it to roughen it up so the paint wont run and drip as easily, i used Krylon fusion satin black heres the pair on my black truck
