no offence taking and im not trying to troll. yes i did read all 4 pages and this is the correct section and i agree they did u wrong. i was just suggesting something u could do to get your truck back on the road and it felt like u jumped all over me for my suggestions.

5,000 dollars just flew out of my account for the truck that was my limit. i'm not made of money what is so hard to understand about that?

i cannot afford to do anything at this moment and i won't do anything until i hear from them. i'm going to wait until end of business day monday then i will move on some thing or get a plan together. i'm not crying about anything its a response to how i have been treated by a vendor that is on this site selling people shit every day and half the time probably not even knowing what the fuck they are hocking.

bottom line if you don't like how this thread is going why comment at all? like i'm such a retard i could not think of this my self oh boy lets just go out and buy a lift then put it on in my drive way.

there are times in life when people stone wall you and let you think they are going to do nothing but, if you really keep on it they react. i'm not the guy thats going to go away fuck it thats worth 1,300 dollars to me.

i responded to your first post because you said i was "crying" about it. i'm not crying i was informing sorry i covered every base but, like i said they are a vendor on here so maybe they will respond and fix the issue.

why in the fuck would i spend more of my money to fix a problem that they caused? i have multiple cars it's cool if the truck sits for a few weeks that's bad enough but to prematurely buy a kit before i know what they are willing to do thats just retarded.

sometimes you have to wait it out. if it was your money i'm sure you would just go out and buy a new kit then forget all the money you spent on installation way to much or not. i went to a shop i knew was a good one they have been in business for 32 years. you know the old saying you pay for what you get.

just leave it be this thread was not started to annoy anyone just to genuinely inform people because after seeing how they handled something that they admitted was their fault why i would never want anyone else to run into the same issues. i was trying to be nice.

    Man that sucks.

You say it cost $800 for the install...that's just for the install right? It sounds high. It cost ~$200 to install and align my OME struts. I guess you're including the rear lift install in that price too though. Maybe I missed something...you have lots of crap going on :(. Sucks that you can't afford to get it fixed, and that 4wp is so stupid.

    good luck man

No worries Hans, you posted up correctly...

Bottom line as I see it (aside from getting you taken care of proper)

like I said earlier, is theres gotta be a way to persuade the Admin. (tcbob I assume) to rein in some of these vendors (& believe me 4wheel parts isn't the only one) that seem to have an unusually poor track record of poor customer service & complaints. Read them the riot act & if it happens again, perma ban them, period. These guys (offending vendors) are making money off this site & thats fine, but along with that they need to stand up & stand behind their products & services. Especially since alot of the customers they solicite from here do business with them BECAUSE THEY ARE HERE, people think " hey they're vendors on my favorite site, they MUST be legit."

I know that sounds DERP, nonetheless, members did business just for that reason alone.

Its bad enough when 1 member fucks over another member (YCPAUL ring a bell?)
But when so called legit vendors start doing it , its time to show them the exit...just my $.02

Im sorry but that right there tells me you need to nuke your whole set up ( take it all off, sell it, and buy the right things this time) I know its not your fault but damn dude if my suspension rode horrible, it would piss the LIVING HELL out of me.

Sorry for the pain man. I have made it a mission in life not to business with 4WP again after a bad experience in 1999 (too long to get into). They are nothing but amateur assholes with inflated egos. Most of the trucks they work on will never see mud/sand. They get some rich guys and local dealerships to lift their "mall crawlers" and it is all for show. Their parking lot is always full of GMCs, Chevys, Fords, and Soccer Mom 4-door JKs with 20s or 22s and 9-inch lifts and still look as if they were on the showroom floor. Fuck them.

it absolutely pisses me off but, i simply cannot go buy another suspension set-up right now i do not have the money the truck is parked until further notice so at least it's not being driven.

i had emailed greg adler at pro comp twice he is the owner and ceo of pro comp and 4wp's i want to believe he will fix this problem for me free of charge. because not one single employee he has working at either company can do that for me apparently. they all want me to spend hundreds and hundreds of my own dollars to fix a problem they created due to selling me the wrong kit for my model of toyota tacoma namely the regular cab 4 cylinder.

so once again it's not an option to just rip everything off and start anew it's turned from a customer service issue that could have been handled already by either pro comp or 4wp's and has now morphed into a cash flow problem for myself! tell me how that works...
