Dang, I feel good getting my 16-17 now!

Clean MAF sensor, throttle body, 02 sensor, fuel injection cleaner.

Do you have a check engine light on for the 02 sensor?

How's it running? Under 10 mpg unloaded sounds like something is pretty off... Did this happen suddenly or gradually? Also, you sure on your math (not trying to be an ass, just starting with the easy stuff before you go tearing into your truck).

yeah ran it down to less than a gallon 5 times and averaged them out and i got the truck in september and the gas mileage was ok then it went down in december mainly because of the snow and 4wd i think and then went up in may to like 15 and then went to absolute shit.

Not really, unless you run the tank dry and keep running the pump the pump will be fine.

It's the fuel running through it that lubes and cools the pump.

Check the o2 sensor I have the same truck with the same problem took like 3 months to trigger a code and until it did my mpg kept going down spent about 1100 on gas last month because of this
