I was thinking the drivers front looked a little off just from looking at it...I should probably take it back then.

I would. Although the truck is "within specs", if you are lifted, then the alignment has to be better.

I think I will. The truck drives great and goes straight but I do sense a slight vibration in the wheel probably from the Toe being off.

    Guys, need help.

How does a person know what number to put the caster on. Do you do the alignment then when they give you the print out then adjust the caster yourself or does the tech at the alignment place know how to do this?

    Thanks,

    Al

Oh, by the way...received my UCA's today....:)

I am missing the washers circled in the red....is the kit suppose to come w/the washers circled or are you suppose to use the existing washers.

    Thanks,

    Al

PS. not metaltech's fault. usps workers do not like to lift heavy packages and tend to throw them.

The alignment tech will take readings and adjust accordingly. You just pay them ;)

The new UCA's come with the smaller washers and you re-use the big ones.

"Paxton" @ metaltech was very helpful. He stated to use the existing large washers. This is what the instructions say. I was just looking at the diagram.

    Thank you Tacoma831.

Can you tell me about the caster? Do I attempt to set it or will the alignment place do it for me.

    Thank you again.

Just set it at "0" and eyeball it to make sure its straight enough to drive to the alignment shop. You won't be able to get the proper adjustment without the right tools for measuring alignment.

Put them on last night. Truck rides 10x better and I don't even have it aligned yet. It is at the shop right now. My truck would "walk" on the road. Now...nothing. Like someone else stated...the steering feels heavier.

This was a great deal. Thanks.

PS. If I did it again. Would probably cut the bolts. I did not and that is OK.

Those bolts were a PITA!! I ended up putting them back in the way they came out though.

I put them back the same way they came out.

Just got it back from having the alignment. It is G-T-G. One of the best investments i have made.
