does anyone know if they make u pay to go in now?

or is that just to stay over night?

 

ive been there once and i had to buy some pass around $15 i think but im not sure if it is always enforced i was there during some speedtrials so maybe thats why but it is a nice place to do some wheeling at

 

ya we should have a meet there if it doesnt cost.

Agreed, that place is alot of fun, and a spring time BBQ/meet would be perfect weather.

I haven't been there since 1978 when I sold my last dirt bike.
Did they put a fence around the dry lake?

 

yea there is a fence around the back end now.

supposedly they have an office building too now to regulate.....

How is the sand? Soft?

 

Has soft sand, hard sand, mud during times of rain, rocky terrain. Its an offroadin/ATV paradise, and lots of fun. There are alot of different types of meets there, recently there was a ford truck meet, there are jeep meets, but mainly alot of motorsporters out there playing around.

 

Let's organize a Taco meet!

 

haha, yeah would be nice, but its out in the middle of nowhere, most people would not be willing to come out that far. Its about a 45 min drive from ontario ca, or pasadena ca. It would probably have to be a Family style GTG to get many people to come.
