Zanio is good stuff. Been using it for about 10 years now. Apply it like it is gold and you will have great results.

What brand of sander do you have? I really like the Lake Country CCS pads.

I'd use the random orbital all the way. just put your polish on the pad, set the ro mid speed, spread it all around, then turn it up...thats how i do it on my truck at least. it's amazing how many scratches i got out of my paint lol....used poorboys stuff.

Its a bosch sander that i used for wood working. It has a hook and loop pad to attach buffing/polishing pads too.

I picked up some of the Lake country pads but they are the hand pads not the ones for the sander. I got the orange, white and red pads.

I love the barcelona red when it's clean and waxed. I just want to take it one step further.

yup, i used ssr2.5/orange pad then ssr1/white pad and topped with natty blue. i missed a step in there cause i didnt have any sealant, but i have some now...that i'll use eventually

whenever i seal, i'll use a black pad.

    Adam:
Yup the red pad for applying waxes and sealants.

White and orange for polishes. Orange being more agressive than white.

    HOLY KRAP!!

Are you sure you don't live somewhere like New York? 1 bdr. appts go for about $700 here. You could buy a 2500 Sq ft house for $1700 here.

The sealant will stop the bird bombs from etching into the clear coat.

Mike should not have to do much to his Tacoma for 6 months. I did give him a little bit of Fuzion and told him to apply another coat today or tomorrow. You will be amazed at the difference in the finish by waiting 24 hours to apply the 2nd coat of wax.

^ What are the time lines for applying product?

whenever I did mine, i washed/clayed, dried, polished, then waxed all in a row. Is it sealant that you're supposed to wait to put on/do 2 coats of?

We only used clay when needed yesterday. Polisging usually makes the finish glass smooth.

We washed, taped it up so we would not hit the rubber trim, then polished. Instead of a second wash I perfer to do an IPA wipedoun to remove the polish residue. It is quicker and there is no drying time needed.

We applied 2 coats of the sealant waiting about 1/2 hour between coats. The we applied the coat of Fuzion wax after about a 1/2 hour wait.

All in all we hustled for about 6 hours to complete the Tacoma. There is about an hour and 1/2 of wait time that is not included in the 6 hour time frame. During the wait we did the wheels and door jambs.

Double cabs are pretty big. Lots of room on the inside as well.
