It's an 89 Toyota Pickup. I got some stuff done to it.. FJ axles going under it soon.
You are lucky to be alive, I've seen way worst carnage before..including a not as bad wreck that killed the person on impact (they hit a 24ft bobtail)..was wearing seatbelt and air bag deployed also.

I can't believe the pictures vs your condition...you are amazingly lucky. I wish you the best recovery, I have a friend who hasn't walked in over 8 months..his leg was completely dismembered almost..they fixed it though, he rolled his truck 8 times into a 28" round trunk tree after trying to take a turn going about 90..that was a 15mph turn. He was intoxicated, so I don't feel bad for him, got what he deserved..but it's still pretty gnarly. It took crews 45 mins to extract him out
The officer said he shouldn't have lived.

    Goodluck on recovery:)

I have survived a bad car accident where I had to learn to walk again. I can feel your pain. I'm glad you are healing up well. I am a truck driver as well. I pray to god that I never hit anybody with my big truck. So far in my career I've been accident free. It sucks that your truck was destroyed, but the 2012's will be out soon and I hope you get one. Thanks for sharing your experience. I hope it encourages people to be careful on the road. We as survivor's understand just how fast our lives can be over. Please be careful on the road everybody.

Born in the West raised in the South!! Greensboro is where I grew up. Lived other places and seems like the adage about going back home applies to me. Not sure I could live anywhere else.

Yeah, the truck caved in around me. I'm glad I don't remember the crash because I probably would have freaked out. It's hard to look at the pics now.
